GRAHAM EVANS
Graham is a senior at McLean High School and will be graduating in 2025.
He has played piano with Dr. Park for over ten years, and highlights of his musical career includes being selected as one of the Honors Recital Winners for the Sonata Festival, receiving superior ratings in both VMTA sight reading and theory exams, and performing with the Capitol Youth Orchestra.
Outside of piano, he likes to play soccer, try new foods, and spend time with friends and family.
SAM MISHULOVICH
Sam attends Langley High School, and he's been studying piano with Dr. Park for 10 years.

During his tutelage under Dr. Park, Sam was selected as the 2nd Place Winner for the Lions of Virginia Bailey's Bland Competition, he received superior ratings in both VMTA sight reading and theory exams, advanced twice to the second round compete at the NVMTA Sonata Festival, and participated in various NVMTA competitions.
What Sam likes most about piano lessons is their ability to channel creative energy in a way that creates beautiful music.
Aside from piano, Sam enjoys exercising and playing chess.
BAYLOR JARKOWSKI
Baylor has been studying with Dr. Park for 7.5 years; he is a sophomore at Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C.
Baylor was awarded the prestigious John Philip Sousa Scholarship for his piano performance towards his studies at the Gonzaga College High School. Other musical accomplishments include advancing to compete in the second round honors for the NVMTA Sonata Festival and receiving superior ratings in both VMTA sight reading and theory exams.
Baylor is a multi-sport athlete, currently rowing with the nationally ranked Gonzaga Crew Team, along with rowing he climbs, swims and play tennis throughout the year.
Baylor enjoys his weekly lesson as he progresses through increasingly difficult pieces.
LAURA BRADY
Laura has been studying with Dr. Park for two years and now attends online classes with her as Laura recently moved to New Jersey.
She attends Northern Burlington County Regional High School and also participates in ballet alongside school and piano.
Laura has a positive and creative mind and is very excited to continue her musical journey with Dr. Park.
JASON
Jason is a sophomore in high school, and he has been studying with Dr. Park for almost 3 years.

During his tutelage under Dr. Park, Jason received excellent ratings in both VMTA sight reading and theory exams, and advanced to the second round to compete at the NVMTA Sonata Festival.
​
Jason enjoys learning different pieces and seeing how unique each piece is in its own.
Outside of piano, Jason enjoys playing football and lacrosse with his friends.
JACKSON W.
Jackson began piano lessons in 2022 at the age of 13, though his passion for music was sparked much earlier. ​A violinist for 10 years, he found it fun to try to learn pieces on the family piano before pursuing formal lessons with his amazing teacher, Dr. Cha Park. He loves to express himself in the form of music, especially on the piano.
Jackson participates in a chamber group intensive and in the Mclean High School orchestra. In 2024, he was one of only four violinists from McLean High selected to perform in the Northern VA Area Senior Regional Orchestra, a competitive audition with over 200 applicants each year. Outside of music, he is a dedicated track athlete, running more than 40 miles a week for McLean's team. He finished the 2024 cross country season with the 5th best freshman time statewide for the 3 mile. He enjoys playing with his dog, spending time with family, reading and listening to classical music.
ALEXANDER H.
Alexander is currently a 9th grader. He began studying with Dr. Park in January 2024 and has been studying piano for about 3 years in total. He thoroughly enjoys learning with Dr. Park and learning beautiful pieces that help to enhance his technical and musical abilities.
In addition to piano, Alex has played violin since the age of 6 and has played in various orchestras with AYPO ( American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras).
Alex enjoys playing different sports including volleyball, baseball, and basketball. He recently joined his high school’s track team and is competing in shot put.
RACHEL
Rachel is a ninth grader in high school who’s been playing piano since she was seven. Rachel likes drawing, listening to music, reading and animals.
She enjoys learning new theory terms and telling a story through her pieces. Even though she’s been with Dr. Park for almost three years, she’s excited to see what else she accomplishes on her musical journey.
JACK EVANS
Jack has been playing the piano since age 5 when he joined Dr. Park's Piano Studio.
He currently attends St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School.
During his tutelage under Dr. Park, Jack received superior ratings in both VMTA sight reading and theory exams and participated in various NVMTA musical events.
​
Some things Jack likes about his piano lessons is his ability to ask Dr. Park questions about the music, learning to play more challenging pieces and playing with more expression.
In his spare time, he loves to read, game with friends, and play tennis and basketball.
ALYSSA H.
Alyssa is currently a 4th grader. She has been studying with Dr. Park for about one year, studying piano for about 2 years in total.
Alyssa “loves learning piano with Dr. Park, learning new pieces” and says that learning piano “is just so fun!”
When she’s not playing piano, Alyssa is also learning to play violin and is an avid softball and basketball player.
She loves animals, enjoys creating and drawing, playing with friends and game night with her family.

BARRETT BATTEH
Barrett is a fourth grader in Washington, DC.
He started playing the piano at the age of 6, but became more serious about it at the age of 8 when he started with Dr. Park, in September 2023.
He enjoys his lessons with Dr. Park because she challenges him to work hard and practice often, but she also makes every lesson lots of fun!
Outside of piano, Barrett enjoys playing ice hockey, soccer, attending camp in Ontario, Canada, and spending time with friends and family.

EMILY DECAMP
Emily is a fourth grader. She has studied with Dr. Park since May 2023, and has made a lot of progress since then.
Emily likes piano because it is fun to make music and learn new sonatinas. She also likes having control over the music and composing her own pieces.
Besides piano, Emily also likes to draw, play recorder, bake, and depending on the season, ice skate, swim, or ride her bike.

MADDIE
Maddie started playing the piano shortly before she turned four and has been studying with Dr. Park since August 2023.
She looks forward to her weekly lessons with Dr. Park because Dr. Park helps her improve, play more musically, and gives her challenges.
Outside of piano, Maddie is also learning violin and can always be found with her nose in a book. She also enjoys biking, playing with friends, and spending time with family.
JACQUELINE BRIGGS
Jacqueline is a second grader at The Langley School and has been studying piano with Dr. Park since November 2023. Jacqueline loves when Dr. Park reminds her to play on her fingertips and pushes her to play beautifully with legato technique. She also loves practicing new pieces and turning them into something beautiful after her hard work.
She loves Dr. Park because she encourages Jacqueline to do more and be better in piano and beyond.
In Jacqueline's spare time, she loves designing dresses, trying new recipes with her mother, playing chess with her dad, tormenting her younger brother in soccer, breaking all the rules when it comes to reading books late into the night...and pointing out her parents' hypocrisies.
LIANA MORALES
Age: 8 years old
School: The Langley School
Liana has studied piano with Dr. Park since fall 2024. Each week, she looks forward to learning new skills and especially the swat a rhythm game played with Dr. Park.
Liana was inspired to play piano because her great grandmother, Mimi, has played piano since she was a little girl in Texas.
Liana also loves softball, baking, and playing school with her little sister.
LEE BIN KIM
Lee Bin Kim is currently studying at The Langley School and has been studying piano for 2 months with Dr. Park. She enjoys learning new pieces and especially loves receiving stickers as a reward during her lessons!
Outside of piano, Lee Bin has a passion for experiencing new cultures, collaborating with art, and playing soccer. With her curious spirit and creative energy, Lee Bin is excited to continue exploring music and growing as a young pianist.
LEE SUH KIM
Lee Suh Kim is a passionate young pianist currently studying at the Langley School. She has been under the guidance of Dr. Park for the past two months, enjoying the challenge of learning new techniques and developing her musical skills.
Lee Suh particularly enjoys incorporating music theory games into her lessons, making learning both fun and interactive. A natural performer, she loves sharing her music with audiences and thrives on stage.

Outside of music, Lee Suh is a kind and friendly individual who enjoys singing, dancing, solving puzzles, swimming, and ballet.
MICHAEL EVANS
Michael has been playing the piano for three months now and is loving it.
He currently attends St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School.
​
He looks forward to his lessons every week and enjoys learning new notes and playing with both hands.
When he's not playing the piano, he loves to read, do minecraft legos and play basketball.
